Phillips Landing is the first contact visitors usually have with Water Island. It is named after Walter Phillips, the first Master Lease Holder of Water Island.
Over the years the face of Phillips Landing has gone through many changes, mostly as a result of damage caused by hurricanes. Today we have a new sturdy dock.
Today Phillips Landing serves as the Post Office, Library, and "Communications Center" for all Water Island visitors and residents.
