There is no doubt that Honeymoon Beach serves as the focal point for life on the island.
There is very little, if any, wave action and it is ideal for swimming and snorkeling. There is a protected swimming area that keeps out boaters. The swim area depth ranges from the beach to about 10' deep. A swim platform in the protected swim area is a favorite place for swimmers to take a break and soak up the sun before plunging back into the crystal clear aqua waters of the Caribbean.
The beach is lined with Palm trees and provide a good deal of shade. It truly is a picture perfect setting. Maybe that is why Brad Pitt and Kate Winslet shot a number of scenes from the hit movie "The Curious Case of Benjamin Button" on this beach.
